Many people develop itchiness or #rashes after consuming particular #food items. Some people might presume this to be an #allergy, but the chances are that this could be #intolerance. Both are nearly the same thing, but an allergy is a severe form of intolerance. These are the physical reactions of #immunesystem to food items that it cannot tolerate. Therefore, some people, after #eating, start to develop #symptoms that might indicate intolerance. For instance, if one suffers from #lactoseintolerance, they do not need to go completely go off lactose. But they can use #lactosefree products or lactose enzyme pills to reduce the intolerance. The causes of food intolerance include lack of enzymes, sensitivity to additives, irritable bowel syndrome, and celiac disease. While #foodallergy affects the immune system very badly so much that it may become #lifethreatening. Intolerance can be easily controlled, while allergic reactions can be very difficult to control. Some of the symptoms of food allergy include #coughing, #sneezing, #pain, #inflammation, and if things get severe, one may need to be hospitalized.
