Sensitive skin, by definition, refers to the appearance of redness, skin bumps or abnormal sensations such as prickling, burning, tingling, pain or itching due to various factors:
1. Physical ( ultraviolet radiation, heat, cold, wind )
2. Chemical ( cosmetics, toiletries, water, pollutants )
3. Psychological (mental stress ) or
4. Hormonal (menstrual cycles)
